Lecture in German language

Oliver Vrankovic demonstrates what "Never again" means for Israel. By means of lifestories he demonstrates the continuity of experience between the persecution and elimination of European Jewry and the threats against Israel and explains how Israel deals with this threat.

His talk 80 years after the Pogromnight lays out how the remembrance of the Shoah and working for Israel's security are connected.

Oliver Vrankovic has been working in a nursing home in Ramat Gan, where witnesses of the Pogromnight and survivors of the Shoah live. Their generation is among the cofounders of the Jewish state. His extensive contact with Survivors of the Shoah makes him a "witness of witnesses".

We look forward to your attendance!
